Mercury is retrograde. Your inbox started it.

Three meetings about a meeting. An email marked urgent that was not, in any known universe, urgent. Someone said "quick sync" and it lasted an hour. Classic Mercury retrograde - or, as we call it at Champerology, a weekday.

Our official position on retrograde

Astrology is the excuse, never the authority. The planets are simply the only colleagues who can't talk back, which makes them the perfect outlet. Mercury didn't break your workflow - but Mercury will happily take the blame while you open something cold.

Three retrograde rituals we stand by

  1. The 5:01 pour. The second the day ends, something chilled comes out. Not to celebrate - to decompress. There is a difference, and you deserve both.
  2. The unread email. Leave one email unanswered until morning. It builds character (yours). The stars call this "boundaries"; your manager will call it "bold".
  3. The blame transfer. Say it out loud: "Mercury did it." Works for typos, missed calls, and that thing you definitely forgot on purpose.

Retrograde lasts a few weeks. Your patience lasts until about 6pm. Luckily, one of those has a cork in it.

Drink chilled. Blame the planets responsibly.
