1. The service
Champerology provides entertainment content: playful horoscopes paired with sparkling-wine suggestions. All horoscopes are created for entertainment purposes. They are not advice of any kind - not financial, medical, legal, psychological, or wine-investment advice. Any decisions you make based on them, including - but not limited to - opening a bottle of sparkling wine, texting an ex, or quitting your job to become a lighthouse keeper, are entirely your own.
2. Bubbles & you
Our content references alcohol and is intended for adults of legal drinking age in their country. Please enjoy responsibly, hydrate like a professional, and never drink and drive - no matter what Mercury is doing.
3. Emails
Signing up requires double confirmation, and every email we send contains a one-click unsubscribe. The daily horoscope is free. If paid features ever appear, they will be described plainly before any charge - no sneaky star-based billing.
4. Content & intellectual property
All content on this site - horoscopes, illustrations, the zodiac calligraphy, the Champerology name and logo - is our property and protected by copyright and trademark law. You are welcome to read, share links, and quote short excerpts with attribution. Wholesale copying, scraping, or re-publishing our content commercially is not permitted without written consent.
5. External links
We link to third-party services (Instagram, and in the future possibly wine partners). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party sites - their own terms apply there.
6. Availability
The service is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep the stars aligned and the site online, but occasional downtime happens - for maintenance, for improvements, or occasionally because Mercury is in retrograde. We are not liable for losses caused by temporary unavailability.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the service grows. The date at the top always shows the latest version, and continued use of the site means you accept the current version. When a merch shop launches, these terms will be extended with shipping, returns, and consumer-rights information before the first sale.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Latvia. If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or EEA, nothing in these terms limits the statutory consumer protections you have in your home country.
